meet willow

hi, i’m willow — a queer, full spectrum doula offering holistic, affirming support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

my path to birthwork has been shaped by reverence: for the body, for the earth, and for the transformational power of the womb. i’ve spent the last five years as a land steward and community herbalist, growing and distributing food through mutual aid networks. rooted in movements for birth justice and collective liberation, my work aims to contribute to a culture of care—one where birth is revered, and sovereign.

i began my doula training in april 2025 at alta bates hospital in berkeley and have since supported dozens of families, through a dynamic range of experiences. my approach centers what i call radical accompaniment: offering grounded, intuitive presence while inviting families and care teams into deeper trust, emotional attunement, and connection. i integrate holistic prenatal and perinatal care, including support with nutrition, womb health, pelvic floor strength, and emotional resilience.

i believe birth is not just a medical event — it’s a sacred threshold. i draw inspiration from the stories my mother has told of birthing my sibling and i, and from the vision of reclaiming birth as a space of dignity, intimacy, and personal power. i’m committed to trauma-informed, gender-expansive care that honors all bodies, all identities, and all families.
