our birth package

prenatal care

1-3 in-home prenatal visits lasting 2 hours. we focus on designing a birth plan, building trust and confidence, and preparing the body for labor. we work to integrate the balances and alignment practices from Spinning Babies. partners and birth support team members welcome!

we meet at home or the hospital, beginning in active labor, until 1-2 hours after your baby is born. we provide comfort measures, alignment and balancing based on Spinning Babies techniques, partner support, and consistency of care. comfort measures include:

  • evidence based, physiological adjustments for reduced pain and easier labor

labor & delivery support

postpartum love

we meet a few days or weeks after your baby is born. we check in about breastfeeding, sleep, and integrate your birth story together. post partum services including mama-care, baby care, child care, and in-home support are also offered at an additional rate.

frequently asked questions

  • we work with families to ensure our doula care can be accessible! our sliding scale is $1100-1700 for the standard birth package. we also offer trade, barter, and volunteer services on a case by case basis.

  • willow is a medi-cal approved provider, offering reimbursable services! read more here about the process. we are able to accept many commercial and most medi-cal insurances, including Kaiser, Alameda Alliance, and San Francisco Health Plan.

  • we serve the broader San Francisco Bay Area, with priority to the East Bay (Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, Richmond, etc).

  • our services include prenatal care, labor and delivery support, and one postpartum visit. for extended postpartum care, including newborn support, family and home care, and mama focuses healing support, we work at $45-75 an hour, sliding scale. for medi-cal patients, we can contract with insurance for an additional 8 postpartum visits with no out of pocket fees!
